Urququcha (Arequipa)

Urququcha is a lake in southern Peru, in the Arequipa Region. It is located in Arequipa Province, Tarucani District. The name comes from Quechua: urqu means "male" and qucha means "lake," so it means "male lake" (also spelled Orcococha). The lake lies southeast of Chinaqucha and northwest of a mountain called Suri Wasi. Its coordinates are 16°06′32″S, 70°54′15″W.
