Orancistrocerus
Orancistrocerus is a small group of potter wasps in the family Vespidae, subfamily Eumeninae. The genus was described by Vecht in 1963, and its type species is Orancistrocerus drewseni (de Saussure, 1857). Species in this genus include O. aterrimus (de Saussure, 1852), O. bicoloripennis (Gribodo, 1891), O. drewseni (de Saussure, 1857), and O. moelleri (Bingham, 1897). They are found in the Far East, northern South America, and southern Central America.
