The 2025 Cotton Bowl Classic, officially the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, was played on December 31, 2025, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It served as a College Football Playoff quarterfinal. The Miami Hurricanes (11–2) from the ACC upset the defending national champions Ohio State Buckeyes (12–1) from the Big Ten, 24–14, to advance to the CFP semifinals.

Miami jumped out to an early lead with a touchdown pass from Carson Beck to Mark Fletcher Jr. A 72-yard interception return by Keionte Scott midway through the first half made it 14–0. Ohio State answered with a 1-yard run by Bo Jackson in the third quarter. Miami added a field goal after a fumble recovery and later extended the lead, while an interception on Ohio State’s next possession sealed the win for Miami.

Attendance was 71,323. The game was broadcast on ESPN with announcers Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek, Taylor McGregor, and Quint Kessenich. The head coaches were Mario Cristobal for Miami and Ryan Day for Ohio State.
