Onvo is a mass‑market electric vehicle brand from Nio Inc., based in Shanghai and launched in 2024. The name Onvo stands for “On Voyage,” and its Chinese name Lèdào evokes family times together. Alan Ai (Ai Tiecheng), a senior vice president at Nio, serves as Onvo’s president.

The brand was publicly introduced in May 2024 after being shown earlier in prototype form under the codename Alps. Onvo’s first model is the L60, a mid‑size electric SUV designed to compete with the Tesla Model Y. It is built for low energy use, long range, and a competitive price.

Onvo plans to sell in China and export to Europe, with deliveries of the L60 expected to begin in September 2024. This move is part of Nio’s strategy to grow its market share and reach more customers.
