The 1998–99 National Football League (India) was the third season of India's top football league. It was sponsored as the Coca-Cola National Football League. The season ran from 5 January to 22 March 1999 and featured 12 teams.

Salgaocar won the title, their first NFL championship and first Indian title. East Bengal finished second, and Churchill Brothers finished third. No teams were relegated this season. The top scorer was Philip Mensah with 11 goals. No Indian club qualified for the Asian Club Championship that year.
