Alla Budnitskaya
Alla Budnitskaya (born July 5, 1937) is a Soviet and Russian actress of theater and cinema. Born in Moscow to builder Zinovy Budnitsky, she finished high school in 1954 and initially tried to enter the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute and VGIK but did not pass. She studied at the Institute of Foreign Languages for a time, then joined VGIK in 1957 and graduated in 1962, studying with Grigory Kozintsev. From 1964 to 2003 she worked as an actress at the National Film Actors' Theatre. She has acted in films since 1960 and has also been a TV presenter, hosting programs on TNT, NTV, and REN TV. Her husband is film director Alexander Orlov. She has a foster daughter, Daria Drozdovskaya, who is the daughter of actress Mikaela Drozdovskaya (1937–1978).
