On Air with Ryan Seacrest
On Air with Ryan Seacrest is a weekday radio program hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It began in 2004 as a drive-time show on Los Angeles’ KIIS-FM, tied to a TV series of the same name. National syndication started in 2008, with the show airing in middays or afternoons on more than 130 stations across the United States and Canada. The live show originates from KIIS-FM in Burbank, California, but Seacrest also works in television in New York, co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan since 2017. When he’s on TV, portions of the radio show are prerecorded, with live weather and traffic updates supplied by the staff, and the show returns to a Manhattan studio as the day progresses.
The program features popular segments and staff, including Manny Streetz, Tanya Rad, Sisanie, Patty Rodriguez, and Miles Hvliko as announcer. One of its longest-running bits is “Ryan’s Roses,” where listeners suspect a partner of infidelity and a staged bouquet is used to uncover the truth. The original sidekick Ellen K. left in 2015 and was replaced by Sisanie. Other recurring bits include “60 Seconds of Sleaze” with entertainment news.
In 2021, Seacrest renewed his contract with iHeartMedia through 2025, ensuring the show’s continued presence on Premiere Networks and its nationwide syndication.
