Mesorhizobium tianshanense

Mesorhizobium tianshanense is a Gram-negative bacterium in the genus Mesorhizobium, within the Phyllobacteriaceae family. It was formerly known as Rhizobium tianshanense. This species is found in the root nodules of many plant species. The binomial name Mesorhizobium tianshanense was established by Chen and colleagues in 1995, with an amendment by Jarvis and colleagues in 1997. Its type strain is A-1BS, also listed as CCBAU3306.
