Jermaine Eluemunor
Jermaine Eluemunor is an English-born NFL offensive tackle who plays for the New York Giants. He was born on December 13, 1994, in London to a Nigerian father and English mother. He stands about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 338 pounds.
Growing up in London, he played rugby and cricket and attended Haverstock School. He moved to the United States at age 14 with his father to pursue football, settling in Denville, New Jersey, where he attended Morris Knolls High School. There he played football on the offensive and defensive lines and also wrestled, finishing his senior year with a 33–4 record.
After high school, Eluemunor spent two years at Lackawanna College (2012–2013), earning all-conference second-team honors in 2013. He then moved to Texas A&M, where he played from 2014 to 2016, redshirting in 2014. He started at right guard in 2015 and, in 2016, started 12 of 13 games—three at right guard and nine at right tackle. He credits Texas A&M offensive line coach Jim Turner for much of his development. At the 2017 NFL Combine, Eluemunor tied for the second-most reps on the 225-pound bench press with 34.
Eluemunor was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft (159th overall). In his rookie season, he played in eight games and started two at right guard, earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team. In 2018, he was waived and signed to the Ravens’ practice squad before being promoted to the active roster later in the year.
In 2019, Eluemunor was traded to the New England Patriots along with a sixth-round pick for a 2020 fourth-round pick. He signed with the Patriots and began the 2020 season as the starting right tackle, but an ankle injury sidelined him and he landed on injured reserve in October before returning in November.
Eluemunor signed with the Miami Dolphins in June 2021 but was released in August. He then joined the Jacksonville Jaguars later that month and was released again at the end of August. He signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on September 2, 2021, and started three games that season. He re-signed with the Raiders in March 2022 and had his best season, starting 17 of 17 games at right tackle. He remained with Las Vegas through 2023, starting 14 of 17 games that season after re-signing in March 2023.
On March 14, 2024, Eluemunor signed a two-year contract with the New York Giants. As of 2025, he has appeared in 118 NFL games, starting 76 of them, continuing his career as a durable right tackle in the league.
