Old Gaol and Carriage House in Masham, North Yorkshire, England, is an 18th-century building that started as the town’s gaol and as a carriage house for the fire engine. The carriage house later became a garage, and the gaol was incorporated into a house. It received a Grade II listing in 1979. In 2011 it was a four-bedroom home bought for £350,000, and its new owners converted it into a bed and breakfast, which was named the best bed and breakfast in the world in 2015. The building is made of stone with a stone slate roof and is one storey high. The front features a round-arched doorway with an impost band and a keystone. To the right is a flat-headed doorway with an impost band and a small barred window above it. On the right-hand side is a nail-studded door with an iron locking bar.
