After finishing middle school, he is drawn back to Ayakajima by his father’s unusual disciple, Jingi Sagawa, who turns out to be Yukito’s childhood friend. Jingi brings Yukito back to the islands, where he meets his father’s two other disciples who protect the island’s harmony. However, rogue mitama and spirits threaten that balance.
