Gudbrand Helenus Hartmann
Gudbrand Helenus Hartmann (17 June 1832 – 30 April 1900) was a Norwegian schoolteacher, rector and civil servant. He was born in Christiania (now Oslo) to Paul Bøckmann Hartmann and Henrikka Severine Anker, and he was the father of Edle Hartmann and Egil Hartmann.
Hartmann worked as a schoolteacher in Larvik from 1857 to 1875. In 1875 he became rector of a secondary school in Tromsø, and in 1886 he was rector in Skien. He also served as a municipal official in Tromsø and Skien. In 1889 he was decorated Knight of the Order of St. Olav.
