The 17th edition was held on Sunday, 2 April 1933. The race started in Ghent and finished in Wetteren, covering 227 km (141.1 miles). 164 riders started and 43 finished. The course included three categorized climbs. Belgian Alfons Schepers won after a sprint in Wetteren, finishing in 6 hours 51 minutes with an average speed of about 33.1 km/h. Léon Tommies finished second and Romain Gijssels third.
