Oña
Oña is a town and municipality in the province of Burgos, in Castile and León, Spain. It covers about 160 square kilometers and sits at 598 meters above sea level. The population was around 938 in 2025. In the Middle Ages, Oña had a Jewish community and built a synagogue in 1405; after the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, the synagogue was transferred to the local monastery. The mayor is Arturo Luis Pérez López (PSOE).
