Nuevo Chagres is a seaside town and corregimiento in Colón Province, Panama. It is the capital of Chagres District. The area covers about 5.9 square kilometers, and in 2010 the population was 499, with a density of about 85 people per square kilometer. It sits near the coast at roughly 9.24°N, 80.09°W.

The town is named after the nearby older settlement of Chagres, located about 13 kilometers to the northwest at the mouth of the Chagres River. In 1916, when the Panama Canal Zone boundary was expanded to include the river’s mouth, the old town of Chagres (about 96 houses and 400–500 residents) was depopulated, and its people moved to Nuevo Chagres.
