Nova Rača
Nova Rača is a small municipality and village in central Croatia, in Bjelovar-Bilogora County. It is also known by older names such as Racha or Racsa. The area covers about 92.8 square kilometers (35.8 square miles), with a small urban area of about 4.4 square kilometers (1.7 square miles). The population density is roughly 30 people per square kilometer (about 77 per square mile).
As of the 2021 census, the municipality has 2,756 residents, including 382 in the town itself. The population in 2001 was 4,077, with Croats making up about 91% of the population at that time. The mayor is Darko Knežić of the HSS party. The municipality includes several settlements.
In 2023, Albanians in Croatia had the right to elect a 10-member minority council for Nova Rača, but the elections were not held due to a lack of candidates.
