Notre Dame School of Dallas
Notre Dame School of Dallas is a Catholic school in Uptown Dallas, Texas for children with intellectual disabilities. It is the only private school in Dallas that serves intellectually disabled students. The school targets students with IQ scores between 30 and 70, and some students have Down syndrome. It serves ages 6 to 21 and opened in 1963. In 2015 it had about 150 students. The campus is co-located with St. Peter's Church. The school began major rebuilding in 2015. It started a cheer squad around 2000, beginning with 15 students.
