Rod Robinson (born May 17, 1976) is a former American football quarterback from Memphis, Tennessee. He played at Fairley High School and Arkansas-Pine Bluff from 1994–1998. Undrafted in 1999, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent but didn’t make the roster. He spent time on the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars practice squads in 1999–2000.

In 2001, he played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe, throwing 474 yards, 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, and rushing for 49 yards and a touchdown. He returned to the Colts in 2001 as the third-string quarterback, was released in Week 10, and then joined the Jaguars’ practice squad, finishing the season with Jacksonville. He was re-signed by the Jaguars in 2002 but released in August.

Robinson then played for the Memphis Xplorers of af2 in 2003, and later for the Las Vegas Gladiators in the Arena Football League from 2004–2005, mainly as a backup and starting Week 2 of 2005. In Arena League play, he completed 51 of 74 passes for 540 yards with 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, plus 4 rushing touchdowns.
