H. Morse House

The H. Morse House is a historic wooden house at 230 South Street, Southbridge, Massachusetts. Built in 1845, it is a well-preserved example of a rural Greek Revival farmhouse. The two-and-a-half-story house features Greek Revival details, including pilastered corner borders and an ornately decorated front door surround. A two-story addition was added to the side in the 1870s, and another addition was added to the rear in the 20th century. Old maps show the property owned by H. Morse in 1855, by Lyman Morse in the 1870s, and by Misses Morse in 1878. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1989, with the reference number 89000538.
