Nonlabens antarcticus
Nonlabens antarcticus is a Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped bacterium that loves cold temperatures (psychrophilic). It belongs to the genus Nonlabens in the Flavobacteriaceae family. This species was isolated from the ice core of a glacier on King George Island, and it was described in 2014 by Kwon and colleagues (type strain AKS622).
