Noam Hanegbi (born 1959) is an Israeli technology expert and senior banking executive. He has served on the boards of several Israeli financial institutions and became chairman of Bank Hapoalim’s board in February 2025.

He holds a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University. Hanegbi served in the IDF’s MAMRAM unit, gaining experience in information systems and communications. From 2000 to 2011, he was Senior Vice President at Discount Bank, leading the Operations and Information Division, the Retail Banking Division, and the Marketing Division, and he led the Ofek project to rebuild the bank’s core IT systems. From 2015 to 2019, he headed the Information Systems and IT Division at Maccabi Healthcare Services, building digital infrastructure for members.

Hanegbi has held board and chair roles at Mercantile Discount Bank, Discount Mortgage Bank, Isracard, Diners Club Israel, Shva (Automated Bank Services Ltd.), and Masav (Bank Clearing Center). He contributed to national tech projects such as Israel’s border control system and the Yevka banking technology supervision initiative. He joined Bank Hapoalim as an external director in 2019, chaired the Information Technology and Innovation Committee, and served on the Credit, Audit, Corporate Governance, and Stakeholder Committees. He was elected Chairman of the bank’s Board in January 2025 and took office on February 17, 2025.
