Niebla is a small coastal town in southern Chile, near the city of Valdivia in the Los Ríos Region. It sits at the northern edge of the Valdivia River mouth, across from the town of Corral. Niebla’s beach and its folk market are popular in the summer, and visitors also come to see the ruins of a Spanish colonial fort and its small museum. The name Niebla means “fog” in Spanish.

In 2017, Niebla had 2,989 residents, up from 2,202 in 2002.
