Zeynep Dizdar (born 14 July 1976 in Kadıköy, Istanbul) is a Turkish singer-songwriter and composer. She started her music career in 1997 with the debut album Yolun Açık Ola. The song “Vazgeç Gönül” topped radio and music charts, and a video was made for “Nerede Olursan Ol.” The track “Bir Hayvanın Günlüğünden” from the same album is notable for being about animals in Turkish pop music.

Her second album, İlle de Sen, appeared in 2005. Produced by Ozan Çolakoğlu and released by Sarı Ev and Sony Music, it included lyrics Dizdar wrote for the hits “Yok Yok” and “Zehir Gibi.”

Recording for her third album Sana Güvenmiyorum began in July 2007, and it was released in July 2008. Dizdar wrote and composed five songs on the album, with “Sana Güvenmiyorum” and “Boşver” charting in Turkey.

Her fourth album, Hayat Benim Elimde, was released in July 2010 by Erol Köse Production. It features Dizdar’s first cover, “Bir Çocuk Sevdim,” written by Sezen Aksu and composed by Onno Tunç.
