Mary E. Small (born September 12, 1954) is an American politician from Bath, Maine. A Republican, she served in the Maine House of Representatives from 1979 to 1994 and in the Maine Senate from 1994 to 2002, including a term as Republican Floor Leader from 2000 to 2002. She could not seek re-election in 2002 because of term limits and represented Bath and Sagadahoc County. In July 2020, she was described as an ally of Senator Susan Collins when Collins filed a legal challenge to keep conservative independent Max Linn off the November Senate ballot; the challenge was unsuccessful, but Collins won reelection. She earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Southern Maine in 1976.
