Neerchal, Kasaragod
Neerchal is a village in the Kasaragod district of Kerala, India, about 12 km from Kasaragod town. It covers 21.54 square kilometers and had a population of 12,369 people in 2011 (6,223 males and 6,146 females), living in 2,352 families. The sex ratio is 988 females per 1,000 males, and about 11% of residents are children under six. The village has an overall literacy rate of 89% (males 93.7%, females 84.4%).
