Plymouth and West Devon Football League
The Plymouth and West Devon Football League (PWD or P&D) is a football competition in Devon, England. It is run by the Devon County Football Association and started in 2004 after merging local Sunday leagues. The league runs both Saturday and Sunday football.
What it is like
- Level: The top division, the Premier Division, sits at level 12 in the English football league system and feeds into the Devon Football League (South & West).
- Divisions: There is one Saturday division (the Premier) and several Sunday divisions. In total, the league has about 54 clubs (around 12 Saturday and 42 Sunday).
- Champions: The current champions are Signal Box Oak Villa (2024–25).
History
- The league began from the Plymouth Combination League and Plymouth District League's merger, then became the Plymouth and West Devon Combination League in 2004 after joining the West Devon Sunday League and Plymouth Sunday League. It is one of the few English leagues that runs both Saturday and Sunday football.
Season structure
- Saturday: Premier Division (one top division for Saturday teams).
- Sunday: Several divisions in use, historically including Premier, One, Two, and other Sunday levels. The Sunday sections have sometimes been renamed to align with the Saturday structure.

- Saturday member clubs in the Premier Division include teams such as Future Stars, Horrabridge Rangers, Lakeside Athletic Reserves, Lydford Foxes, Morley Rangers, Plymouth Hope, Princerock, Signal Box Oak Villa Reserves, Stannary Town, Tavistock Development, and the University of Plymouth.
- Sunday member clubs span several divisions (Premier, One, Two, Three, etc.), with a variety of clubs across the divisions.
