Nathanael Villanueva
Nathanael Ace Pineda Villanueva (born October 25, 1995) is a Filipino footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Cebu in the Philippines Football League. He played college football for the UP Fighting Maroons.
His professional career includes time with Pachanga Diliman, Meralco Manila, Kaya F.C.–Iloilo, and Cebu, which he joined in 2021. A highlight came on May 12, 2018, when he was named man of the match as Kaya defeated Ceres–Negros 2-0, saving Bienvenido Marañón’s penalty early in the game.
Internationally, Villanueva has appeared for the Philippines U23 team (2 caps) and was named in the Philippines squads for the 2018 Bangabandhu Cup and the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, though he has not yet earned a senior cap.
