"My Love Is Like...Wo" is a mid-tempo R&B song by American singer Mýa, released on June 9, 2003 as the lead single from her third album Moodring (2003). The track runs 3:29 and was written by Missy Elliott with Charles and Kenneth Bereal, produced by Missy Elliott and CKB, with additional production by Ron Fair.

Lyrically, the song is about self-love and confidence. Mýa initially hesitated to release it because of its graphic lines, but she fought to have it as the single, describing it as a conceited, empowering anthem about owning oneself.

Musically, it’s in the key of G major, about 69 BPM, and showcases a verse-chorus structure with a spoken intro. Mýa’s vocal range on the track spans from G3 to D5.

Critical and chart notes: the song received mixed to positive reviews, with Billboard highlighting its playful, confident vibe. In the U.S., it peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 (four weeks at that position) and reached number 17 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. Internationally, it reached the top 40 in Australia (peak 25), the UK (peak 33), Ireland (peak 36), and New Zealand (peak 33).

Video and remixes: the music video, directed by Paul Hunter, presents Mýa as a one-woman show with tap-dancing moments and a dramatic look, choreographed by Travis Payne. It earned two MTV Video Music Award nominations for Best Dance Video and Best Choreography. Remixes include Part II – Allstar Remix and Part III – Swizz Mix, featuring interpolations from Black Rob’s “Whoa!” and Eve’s “Double R What.”

Promotion and Moodring release: Mýa promoted the single with performances on MTV, Carson Daly, Live! with Regis and Kelly, Passions, 106 & Park, and Pepsi Smash. Moodring was released on July 22, 2003.
