The 2022 Volta a Catalunya was a week-long road cycling race in Catalonia, Spain, from 21 to 27 March 2022. It was the 101st edition and the seventh event of the 2022 UCI World Tour.

Race details
- Seven stages, totaling 1,213.9 km (754.3 miles).
- Start: Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Stage 1). Stage 2 began in L’Escala and for the first time since 1985 crossed into France, finishing in Perpignan. Stages 3 and 4 finished with mountain climbs at La Molina and Boí Taüll. Stage 5 ran from La Pobla de Segur to Vilanova i la Geltrú. Stage 6 took place on the Costa Daurada. The race ended with a final circuit around Montjuïc in Barcelona.
- 165 riders started; 94 finished.
- Route notes included notable climbs and a final day in Barcelona on a six-lap Montjuïc circuit.

- Second place: Richard Carapaz (Ecuador) – Ineos Grenadiers

Notable incident
- After the final stage, Sonny Colbrelli collapsed and required emergency medical treatment; he was conscious and stable in hospital for further assessment.
