Murdannia sepalosa
Murdannia sepalosa is a flowering plant in the dayflower family (Commelinaceae). It is a tuberous perennial geophyte, meaning it grows from underground tubers and lives for many years. It is native to central and eastern Africa, including Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Kenya, the DR Congo (formerly Zaire), Zambia, Mozambique, and Malawi. The species has had several older scientific names, such as Aneilema sepalosum and Anthericopsis sepalosa.
