Motutunga Atoll is an uninhabited atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean. It lies about 17 km east of Tahanea Atoll at coordinates 17°04′S, 144°17′W. The atoll is roughly triangular, about 15 km long and 14 km wide. A continuous reef surrounds the lagoon, which covers about 126 square kilometers. The land above water measures about 2.5 square kilometers, and there are no deep channels into the lagoon, so ships cannot reach it.

Motutunga belongs to the commune of Anaa, in the Tuamotu group, along with the atoll Faaite and the uninhabited atolls Tahanea and Motutunga. The atoll was first seen by Captain James Cook on 13 August 1773, who named it Adventure after his ship; it was later named San Blas by Spanish navigator Domingo de Boenechea on 9 November 1774.

Demographics: uninhabited (2012).
