Montreux '77 – Live
Montreux '77 – Live is a live jazz guitar album by Joe Pass. It was recorded on July 15, 1977 at the Montreux Jazz Festival and released that year. The album runs about 40 minutes and was issued by Pablo, produced by Norman Granz. In Joe Pass’s 1977 releases, it sits after Quadrant and before Virtuoso No. 3. A reviewer for AllMusic, Scott Yanow, says Pass’s Pablo albums are worth owning, including this one, though it isn’t the most essential among them.
