I Love Paraisópolis, stylized as I ♥ Paraisópolis, is a Brazilian telenovela that aired on TV Globo in 2015. Created by Alcides Nogueira and Mário Teixeira and directed by Wolf Maya, it ran 154 episodes from May 11 to November 6, 2015. The show is set in Paraisópolis, a poor neighborhood next to the wealthy Morumbi, and follows two young women who are like sisters but not related by blood: Marizete (Mari) and Pandora (Danda). They were raised by Eva and Jurandir after Mari’s mother died during childbirth. Mari works hard and studies with the dream of giving her mother a home. Danda is beautiful and vain but deeply loyal to her sister. Nearby, Benjamin, a Morumbi architect, plans to redevelop Paraisópolis, a project his mother Soraya and stepfather Gabo support because they see it as a business opportunity for their Pilartex company. Benjamin meets Mari and falls in love, sparking a romance that challenges family expectations and social divides. The cast includes Bruna Marquezine (Mari), Maurício Destri (Benjamin), Tatá Werneck, Caio Castro, Letícia Spiller, Maria Casadevall and others.
