St Helens' 1900–01 season was their sixth in the Northern Rugby Football Union and the 27th in their history. It was their worst-ever league finish, finishing 13th in the Lancashire Senior Championship after two points were deducted for breaking professional rules. They won 8 games, drew 2, and lost 19, scoring 82 points and conceded 228. In the Challenge Cup, they were knocked out in the third round by Batley.
