Maximum Strength is the tenth solo studio album by American rapper KRS-One. It was released on June 10, 2008, by Koch Records. Recording took place from January to May 2008, and the album runs about 33 minutes in the hip hop genre. Producers include Duane “DaRock” Ramos, James “Desi” Desmond, Dirt, Oh No, and Ser Kenoe, with Simone Parker serving as executive producer. All lyrics are written by Lawrence Parker (KRS-One). The title Maximum Strength had originally been planned for an unreleased 1998–1999 Jive Records project. When promoted in 2008, the label suggested this release would be the shelved LP, though the final track list and cover differed. The album peaked at number 78 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
