Gary Numan discography
Gary Numan is a British singer and musician known for his pioneering electronic music. He started his recording career in 1978 with the group Tubeway Army. They scored a UK number-one hit in 1979 with Are Friends Electric and their album Replicas, which also topped the charts. Numan then released music under his own name, beginning with the 1979 single Cars. The follow-up album The Pleasure Principle also reached number one in the UK, and Telekon did the same in 1980. He continued to release music and tour through the 1980s and beyond.
His more recent work has also performed well in the UK. The 2017 studio album Savage (Songs from a Broken World) reached number two, his highest chart peak since 1980, and the 2021 album Intruder also peaked at number two.
