Marylebone station in central London is a railway terminus and an Underground station in the Marylebone area of the City of Westminster. The National Rail part is the southern terminus of the Chiltern Main Line to Birmingham and has six platforms. The London Underground Bakerloo line station sits above the main line, on the Bakerloo line between Edgware Road and Baker Street, in fare zone 1.

Marylebone opened on 15 March 1899 as the London terminus of the Great Central Main Line, the last major railway to reach London for about a century. The line connected London with Leicester, Sheffield and Manchester. The original plan had eight platforms, but only six were built. Two were added in the 1980s and two more in 2006.

Today, Chiltern Railways runs services from Marylebone to Birmingham Snow Hill and to towns including Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Banbury and Oxford (via a link to the Oxford–Bicester line opened in 2015–16). Some services reach Stratford-upon-Avon and Stourbridge Junction. The main line into Marylebone remains non-electrified and uses diesel trains.

The Bakerloo line has served Marylebone since 1907. The Underground station is in fare zone 1 and sits between Edgware Road and Baker Street. There is no direct interchange with the Circle line; the nearest Circle line stations are Edgware Road and Baker Street.

Marylebone sits on Melcombe Place just north of Marylebone Road, near Regent’s Park. It is one of London’s quieter termini and is a popular filming location. It is also one of four London termini shown on the Monopoly board.
