Marylebone East was a London parliamentary constituency in the Metropolitan Borough of St Marylebone. It elected one Member of Parliament to the UK Parliament, using first-past-the-post voting. The seat was created in 1885 from the two-seat Marylebone and existed until 1918, when it was abolished. It covered the wards of Cavendish Square, Dorset Square and Regent's Park, Portland Place, and St John's Wood Terrace. Beresford was appointed Lord Commissioner of the Admiralty, which required a by-election. He later resigned, causing another by-election.
