West Pensacola, Florida
West Pensacola is a census-designated place in Escambia County, Florida. It sits about 4 miles west of downtown Pensacola and is part of the Pensacola–Ferry Pass–Brent metro area. The Brownsville neighborhood is also part of West Pensacola. The area covers about 7.3 square miles in total, with around 7.2 square miles of land and a small amount of water. Elevation is about 70 feet above sea level.
As of 2020, the population was 21,019, a slight decrease from 21,339 in 2010. The population density is roughly 2,931 people per square mile. West Pensacola is in the Central Time Zone (CST in winter, CDT in summer).
