Makira fantail
The Makira fantail, also called the dusky fantail, is a small bird in the Rhipiduridae family. Its scientific name is Rhipidura tenebrosa, described by Ramsay in 1882. It is endemic to the Solomon Islands, meaning it only lives there. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is listed as Near Threatened by the IUCN because its forest habitat is being lost.
