Ottweiler is a town in Saarland, Germany, on the river Blies. It’s about 7 km north of Neunkirchen and 25 km northeast of Saarbrücken. The town is known for its porcelain. The Ottweiler Brewing Company started there in 1873 but moved to the Karlsberg Brewery in Homburg in 1983. Main roads B420 and B41 pass through Ottweiler, and the local train station has regular service to Saarbrücken and Frankfurt. As of 2023, Ottweiler has about 14,500 residents. The area is around 45.6 square kilometers and the town sits about 268 meters above sea level.
