Mairwa is a Nagar Panchayat (city council) in Siwan district, Bihar, India. It covers 6.23 square kilometres and had a population of 23,565 as of 2011. The town is divided into 13 wards and serves as the block headquarters of Mairwa block. It is known for the historic Baba Hari Ram Brahma temple. Official languages are Bhojpuri, Hindi, and English. The area uses Indian Standard Time (UTC+5:30). Vehicle registration is BR-29. The climate is Cwa (monsoon-influenced humid subtropical).
