Love's Conquest is a 1918 American silent drama directed by Edward José, based on Victorien Sardou's play Gismonda. It stars Lina Cavalieri, Courtenay Foote, Fred Radcliffe, Frank Lee, J. H. Gilmour, and Isabel Berwin. Produced by Adolph Zukor for Famous Players–Lasky and released by Paramount Pictures, the 50-minute drama was filmed at the Famous Players–Lasky Studios in Fort Lee, New Jersey and is now considered a lost film.

Plot: Duchess Gismonda refuses all marriage offers to secure her son Francesco’s future. When the boy is in danger, she offers her kingdom to the man who rescues him. Almerio, a slave, bravely goes into a lion’s den to save the child, but his status keeps the duchess from rewarding him. Over time she falls in love with him; he takes the blame for a murder she committed. In front of her people, she declares Almerio her consort.

Censorship: The film faced cuts by city and state boards, including several intertitles and scenes.

Status: Love's Conquest is a lost film.
