M. Tamil Selvan
M. Tamil Selvan (born 3 February 1955) is a former Indian weightlifter from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He represented India in weightlifting and competed in the men's bantamweight event at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Selvan won silver medals at the Commonwealth Games: bantamweight in 1978 (Edmonton) and featherweight in 1982 (Brisbane). He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 1977-78.
