Ludovic Butelle
Ludovic Jean-Luc Butelle (born 3 April 1983) is a French professional football goalkeeper who plays for OCPAM in the Championnat National 3. He was born in Reims and began his senior career with Metz in 2001, becoming a regular in Ligue 1. In 2004 he moved to Valencia in Spain and had loan spells with Hércules, Valladolid, and Lille before Lille signed him. He later played for Nîmes, Arles-Avignon, Angers, Club Brugge, Red Star, and Reims, before joining OCPAM in 2025. He has represented France at the U21 level, earning three caps.
During his career, Butelle was named Ligue 2 Goalkeeper of the Year three times in a row while at Arles-Avignon. He helped Angers reach Ligue 1 in 2015. In 2015–16 he joined Belgian champions Club Brugge, where he won the league title and was named Club Brugge’s Goalkeeper of the Year in 2016. He returned to Angers in 2018 and later played for Red Star and Reims before signing with OCPAM.
