Louisa County Airport, also called Freeman Field, is a public-use airport located about two nautical miles southeast of Louisa’s central business district in Virginia. It is owned by the Industrial Development Authority of Louisa County. The airport sits at 493 feet above mean sea level and covers 171 acres.

Runway: The airport has one asphalt runway, 9/27, measuring 4,301 by 100 feet. On-site FBO: Cavalier Aviation, LLC, which provides fuel and maintenance.

Operations: For the year ending May 30, 2008, there were 20,987 aircraft operations (about 57 per day): 96% general aviation, 2% air taxi, and 2% military.

Activities: The airport hosts events offering airplane rides and introductory flight lessons.
