Eduard Zeman

Eduard Zeman (11 April 1948 – 25 June 2017) was a Czech politician. He served in the Czech National Council from 1992 to 1993 and in the Chamber of Deputies from 1993 to 2006. From 1998 to 2002, he was the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports in the government led by Miloš Zeman. He belonged to several political parties during his career: KSČ (1966–1970), ČSSD (1990–2009), and the Party of Civic Rights (2009–2017). He was born in Most, Czechoslovakia, and died in 2017 at age 69.
