This article lists the people who served as Lord Lieutenant of the County of London. The post began in 1889, taking over duties from the Lord Lieutenant of the Tower Hamlets. It ended in 1965 when it was merged with the Lord Lieutenant of Middlesex to form the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London.
