Susanna Hunt
Susanna Hunt is an English pop singer, actress, and model. She was born in Brenchley, Kent, into a farming family, and later lived in Sedlescombe, Sussex. She moved to London to study singing and modeling, joining the Cherry Marshall Model Agency, and hoped to start acting. In 1967 she appeared in a London documentary about city life, sharing her experiences of the scene. She was an original cast member of Peter Coe’s Decameron ’73, which stood out in the UK for its free expression of nude form. Her major theatre work was three years in Let My People Come, a production that was nominated for a Grammy in 1975 for Best Original Cast Album. As a singer, she used the stage name Geneveve and released songs such as Just a Whisper, Summer Days, Nothing in the World, Once, That Can’t Be Bad, and I Love Him, I Need Him. Her music received airplay on English radio and pirate stations like Radio London and Radio 270. She married musician Ronnie Lane and was part of The Faces’ musical entourage. She appeared in the 2006 documentary The Passing Show, where she talks about Lane and The Faces. She now lives in Walnut Creek, California, United States.
