Lomné, Hautes-Pyrénées
Lomné is a very small commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in southwestern France, in the Occitanie region. It covers about 13 square kilometers and had 39 residents in 2023, giving a population density of around 13 people per square kilometer. The village sits at elevations between 393 and 703 meters (about 1,289 to 2,306 feet).
The mayor is Jérôme Morilhon (2020–2026). Lomné belongs to the Plateau de Lannemezan intercommunal group, in the arrondissement of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and the canton of La Vallée de l'Arros et des Baïses.
Climate is oceanic. The average yearly temperature is 12.6 °C, and it rains about 1,248 mm per year, with November the wettest month. August is usually the warmest month (around 20 °C) and January the coldest (about 5.6 °C). The highest temperature on record is 39.1 °C (18 July 2022) and the coldest is -13.4 °C (8 February 2012).
